Thanks for sharing your thoughts too, Eng Hieang. It’s scary when you stop to think about what is happening. Problem is, many are moving at breakneck speed keeping up with the pace of life, getting caught up and distracted with things that don’t matter at all.

society is evolving and what is a professed Christian family today will be a pale shadow a couple of generations from now.
Correction has to start with ourselves, much as we want to correct the deviant. And clearly, many men have neglected their role as spiritual head of household.
Christianity is not a brand we wear, but a relationship with God that we must want to develop.
And you are right. To stand steadfast in our faith is increasingly daunting on our own strength, but with God all things are possible.
Question is, how many will be like the old Peter who denied Christ thrice or will they be the repentant Peter who stood firm?

Many Christians are too religious and ignorant of what is happening in the physical realm and the spiritual dimensions. When casino and gambling was proposed few years back churches prayed and screamed and yelled in the churches and not knowing that unless God Almighty has allowed it , it will not happen at all. Bible tells us in the last day there will be great deceptions and confusions, strives and falling away. Brother Francis has prophesied in the beginning of the year and in fact even my church I am seeing people leaving and pastors left to join new churh. Again unless God allows it , it will never happen. God is sperating the sheeps and the goats and the book of revelation God says let the holy be holy and let the wicked be wicked, let him does right continue to do right. Aware saga reflects the lack of members of a church to be able to discern and hear the counsels of God and take matter into their own hands. One positive outcome of the saga is that MOE decided to stop the sex education material from Aware and decides to review future teaching materials. If churches really care and concern about homosexual and Lesbian issues, they should pray, fast and intercedes and looking to the hands of God to intervene in the context and spheres that God allows for the last days. These things are allowed for the last days so that only a holy and pure church can be established and we are the church where the holy spirit dwells in us. God is looking at temples whom He can abide and His glory resides and only the Holy ones can have His glory resides within. If these things do not happen and allow in the society and churches, how can God seperates the clean and unclean, how can God seperate the holy and unholy and the righteous and wicked. The great falling away has begun and will escalate, the church is asked to be holy and come into the holy of holiest and not staying at the outer courts where uncleans and evils are abound. The church must be wise knowing who to align with in the last days. Jehosphat falled because he aligned wrongly in his ending days though he fear God and was found in the ways of his father David, but he failed for wrong alliances. We must be wise and discern about our alliances in the last days. Many have already fallen and churches aligned wrongly with them will fall with them in the last days.

Excellent musings on the Aware saga. I am going to make the young men in my home read it and get them to be aware of their responsibilities even from this age to stand up for what is right and not leave it to the women. Letting women lead is in direct contradiction to what God expects. Come on guys, get involved. Don’t be wusses (sp?) Thanks again Henson for your godly analysis.
